Who Am I Truly?

Am I the science or the wealth, creating my identity?
Am I the fame, glory, power I am attached to?
Am I the faith or ideal that I bow to,
And arrogantly, I imagine that I know God himself?

All are dreams, fictions. I am none of these!
When all are illuminated, I see their hollowness,
They are immediately dissipated: in the “emptiness”, Love appears,
I am extended into Infinity – a creative being.

This is the true, real man – always present within me,
Inviting me to discover him, through the right action;
Attention is the path – the instrument which demolishes
The chaotic “ego” – a deceptive structure.

Psychologically – I am “Nothing” – the whole being is enlightened,
Without center, without bounds – immaculate Purity.
Melting into Eternity, I watch everything as it comes,
Constant Attention – the divine instrument.
