Can we really be content
knowing that others are dying
around the world

I pray for Peace

not from old age
not from self inflicted wounds
but from not being tolerated

I pray for Peace

So I ask what is tolerance
and when do we move
from tolerance to murder

I pray for Peace

When will we stop
the killing of innocent humans
brothers and sisters
mothers and fathers
grandparents and children

I pray for Peace

Can we really be content
with our intolerance

I pray for you.

Morning glow
fire in the East
fill our hearts with Hope

Wave upon wave
wash us in your glory
fill our minds with Love

Here in the harmony
between shore and sky

The voice of the wind roaring
the bitter cold
transforming the lines of your face
breathe deeply

Sound vibration kinship
with oceans constantly churning
beckon us to awaken
breathe deeply

Enveloped in sacred harmony
regardless of form or source
saturated to excess
breathe deeply

The Dancer of Life our Heart
