Softly Folding

Softly folding into the whole
fold upon fold
we are just as we began
softly folding into the whole

Crocus of Enlightenment

Crocus of Enlightenment

Having celebrated Thanksgiving and reflecting on gratefulness we look out again at a world that is torn apart and in pain. So much separation and judgment being brought to boil and no sight of reprieve from it’s negative effect on all our lives.

During a homily this morning a retired minister who has a way with words, that is much more poetic than preaching, pierced my heart with this phrase about his vision.
“the crocuses of the Spring of Enlightenment” – Jim Gambril

Since I do not practice the art of negativity, even while in the midst of chaos, I could not let these words slip away.

Let us all align with this beautiful message to carry us through the dark winter of humanity. We are a species of Being that is so resilient that no matter how severe life appears, we are always on the verge of a Spring of Enlightenment.

My heart to yours

Bee Thankful

Bee and dandelion_

Today it was 63 degrees here in York Maine. A weather exception for the day after Thanksgiving that is too good to not enjoy.

While going to feed the birds, the dandelions were taking full advantage of their ability to show us how tenaciously they cling to every little moment of opportunity. Yet upon looking closer we see the bees too are not missing one moment of thankfulness.

Let us all Bee thankful for the little things that go unnoticed so often in our lives, those tiny specks of the fractal of life upon which we revolve.

Nobody veills you_.JPG

O, friend! Nobody veils you, but yourself.
In your path there is no thorn or weed, but yourself.
You asked: shall I reach the beloved or not?
Between you and the beloved there is nobody, but yourself.
– Awhadoddin Kermani

Ay dust hejaab-e to kasi nist to’i

Visoins of Hope

From sandy beaches
Visions of Hope
arise within the sound
of the thunderous waves
of our daily lives

cRb 11.25.2011

As I go through years of postings on facebook and deleting a trail of broken links and remarks which no longer are valid reflections what I want to leave behind, I find bits of treasure.

Perhaps the pirate in me has buried these to return and find, remembering moments of lucidity which are suitable also for today.

Enjoy my treasure hunting and from the vaults of my photos I married the words with this joyous picture of a beach in Bermuda.

Sunrise 11.25.15

The threshold of our day
is not seen as black and white
it is always radiantly beaming
in rays of golden welcome

Yet when we take away
the all that glorious diffusion
we embrace the striking reality
behind Light’s illumination

Beyond the Setting

In less than a few minutes
the glory of a Sunset
captures our hearts forever

We hold that flash of Light
in our hearts and mind
in gratitude for its beauty

We walk away filled with awe
with a sense of our place
among the wonders of creation

Only to become drawn back
into the world of the ordinary
and that moment is no longer

Yet we live beyond the setting
our hearts are never
not that moment

We have just forgotten

Allowing ourselves to become
the shadows of the night
awaiting the light to return

Let Us not forget
We are the Light
which always shines

To dispel the darkness

Power of Love

When we come to the place within our hearts,
that never loses sight of all that we can be,
then we will know the power of love. ~ crb

Peace Light Love Energy

cropped-underwater-flowers.jpg

There are moments when we need to break out of our routines and redefine our interface with the world. So with all the chaos and energy that is flying around the globe we have an opportunity to do exactly that… take advantage and move into newness.

I have had a facebook page for 5 years and a blog page for at least 3 without checking exactly and have kept them each as individual entities yet sharing the blog with my facebook friends who may be inclined to appreciate it.

The blog is my sanctuary as most of us here respect the efforts each make in producing and sharing our passions. So with that said, I have created a page on facebook which will also be a sanctuary and it is named Peace Light Love Energy for those who might so be inclined to visit.
Here is the link:   facebook.com/peacelightloveenergy

I will be sharing my blog posts there as well as parts of my journey which resonate with the four words in its title. It will be much less dramatic and more peaceful than my hectic facebook page in light of all the chaos that is happening around the globe. So please drop by sometime and give a holler or share it with friends who spend time on facebook as a quiet spot for reflection much like this blog is.

People ask me if I’m on twitter and the answer is no. The reason being that I can spit things out faster than my ability to think rationally about them, when they trigger me. I wish I had a dollar for every post on facebook I’ve clicked out of before posting and deleted after hitting enter.

I enjoy you all and please know that I send each of you the energies of
Peace, Light and Love.
Many Blessings

10.11.12 poem

We are but the seeds of Love
awakening in time
constantly seeking
the Light which nourishes us

The darkness of our germination
Now coming to an end

We reach out to the pollinators
that we may blossom and flourish
bringing forth Peace and Love
