The Butterfly and the Evergreen…
This is indeed Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere, when the Sun stands still and we experience the shortest allotment of light possible.
A time of deep inner reflection and realignment with our future self.
This was a memory on my facebook page which greeted me as I opened it this morning. Two beautiful and poignant symbols for such an amazing time of transition in human evolution.
The poetry by Linda Mottet was an inspired response to the original posting and perfectly describes how many of us feel right now, even though this was written a year ago.
Don’t know if I have lost myself,
or found myself,
I must be somewhere in between
shadow and illusion,
and the Real and Unseen.
– Linda Mottet
The Butterfly is a true symbol of Transmutation. It not only has begun as an egg, it has two more stages of life before it becomes the butterfly.
It is the symbol of the Soul which is constant, yet is contained in many forms before it’s resurrection.
Their messages are of Joy and Lightheartedness as if always dancing through their very meaningful purpose of creation, with deep resonance.
Each of us are Butterflies which have emerged and may have forgotten, our purpose is to be peaceful, attentive and joyful in our sense of creation, whatever that may be.
So I ask… Can we find ourselves in the Butterflies?
Knowing that we may only be larvae or the caterpillar in this moment. Always seeking the next opportunity to serve in our Divine capacity.
The Evergreen represents the immortality of the Soul and the unchanging nature of the Spirit whose strength and innocence along with virtuosity are the steadfast guiding forces of creation.
It reminds us also of our earthiness as it’s roots extend deep into the soil and maneuver around obstacles, which it then utilizes to keep steadfast.
Each of us once again being the Evergreen digging deeper into the mysteries of ourselves and the the darkness of initiation. Discerning the shadow from illusion, in order to better serve as the Light.
So I ask… Can we allow ourselves to be the Evergreens?
Knowing that our roots are placed firmly in darkness without fear, while our strength to remain our Spirit of balance and virtue is everlasting.
And so the Sun Standing Still, has the power to reveal that we are much more alike than separate.
We are Butterflies and Evergreens
We are Souls in Transmutable forms
We are Divine Spirits of Light
Solstice Blessings to each of you

There is a space within our hearts
which can only be reached by tears
the deeper well of our experiences
which never fails to arise and release
May you reach deeply and pour forth
all of that which no longer serves
our highest good or that of others
and which cannot be denied any longer
So that we may move freely once more
delighting all with our presence
It is with the greatest pleasure as a Council member of LovingWaters that I introduce you all to Loving Waters.Life which has just gone live today on 12.12.16 as a website.
This has been a journey of Love and Passion for the Water which began in the hearts of true Water Faithful Mothers. It has been a journey filled with laughter and joy, heartbreak and anger and every emotion that is humanly recognizable. As well as a few, that perhaps are not yet understood on a third dimensional level.
I invite each of you to come and join us from all over the world as we gather and share in Water Blessings and Ceremonies, learning and teaching what Water brings forth to each of us through our passion and commitment.
From the Front Page of the Website…
Together we connect what has long been separated
and celebrate what is most sacred ~ the Source of Life ~
Our Mother Earth and her Water
~ Elizabeth Herald ~
We’re a growing community of Water lovers, advocates and guardians uniting together in remembrance of our primary sacred relationship ~ Life as Water.
Our intention is to celebrate our One Water as the Source of All Life upon our beloved Mother Earth, and to globally encourage the simple act of giving gratitude to our Water, through various ceremonies and blessings, as a significant pathway to healing and reconciliation for the planet.
Each month on the full moon, we gather together virtually and locally in our own watershed, to connect in gratitude as individuals, family, friends and community receiving and giving of the blessings of the Water. In doing so, we deepen our love and honor for Water as Source. Any traditions of Water blessings which resonate with you are welcomed and honored.
Monthly, on the new moon, Loving Waters also provides connection, support, focus and inspiration for these ‘Water Guardians’ on a monthly conference call. As well as encouraging each of our broader actions on this website and by hosting a lively social networking presence.
There is much Water Wisdom here, arising from our collective heart, so explore around. If you appreciate what you discover, then please consider joining us as a fellow Water Guardian.
A flowing response to a message from Grandmother AH’LU’SH’Mah through KA’ryna SH’ha
as I sat quietly and listened…
We have come, gathering and flowing
from the heavens into density
Dancing into the vortex of all creation
Sitting now in the midst
of both the words and the vibrations
of our hearts from which All flows
Each of us from beyond space and time
Each of us bearing gifts of distinction
Each of us containing the codes of creation
Present now and activating
individually and collectively
embraced by the Water we Are
Water Beings returning to Earth
As once before in ages past
some will lead, some will follow,
some will hold space and energy
Transmuting through Love and Light
of the Highest Divine Order
connected and extending
through our Councils of Light
From where in Blessed Communion
We remember and embrace our Divine Purposes
Co-Creating now in Balance and Harmony
