Wildflowers, York, ME – Photo and Verse – Charlie Riverman Bergeron 5/28/11
Walking each day
through the density
that surrounds
the ever-changing mind
Looking for moments
that lift us
and fill us
with newness
There you were
silently waving
in soft gentle breaths
Praising the light
in which the shadows dance.
This photograph and the verse it inspired is a tribute to Peter Shefler.  Thank you Peter for all  your marvelous contributions to this world through your creations. Your touching of hearts and minds through your passion is such a gift to us all.

Blossoms

Blossoms
hundreds of years
season upon season
roots planted firmly
many have come
a few have noticed
one has exalted me to the heavens
and keeps me warm in his heart
it is for you my
blossoms dance in the slight breeze
promising you a taste of their labors

This Photograph by George Risho Robertson, London UK
was the inspiration for the verse. Thank you George for allowing me to share your wonderful work.
Silent CommunionFor to be found
within your awareness
nestled among
the shadows of lightbeams
illuminating
the delicate structure
of my inner presence
has given new life
to our silent communion

Message from Charlie H
May 21,2011

when we know it is our time to leave
we will give back all that we have been given
and return to our original presence
knowing that we have been in the garden

received by crb  5/21/11

Today a loving husband, father, grandfather and amazing human being left this world after a 10 month journey of having a brain tumor.  The memories he has left behind will continue to be a part of this world, for his presence and laughter will not be soon forgotten.I sat here at my computer tonight having returned from visiting his beloved wife of 50+ years

and as I usually do before I write my musings I humbly ask for those who want to speak through me to guide me in my writings.I placed my fingers on the keyboard and started to type out the beginning of a verse and my fingers were soon deleting what I had written and the above message was typed just as it appears, no editing, no misspelling, no hesitation or pausing to think about it.

Thank You Charlie, glad you made it home!

Joyous Waiting

16 Monday May 2011

Joy is not “something” that eludes us;
it is we who elude Joy!

Buried deep within us,
below the radar of our thinking,
waiting in silence,
Joy awaits our return.
