After the storm I got up before the Sun rose and cleared the driveway. As I finished, the Light was just hitting the tree tops and I looked towards the river.

Off I ran to get my camera and drove to the bridge near my home to take some pictures.
It was a Winter Wonderland of unbelievable beauty.

I was finishing shots of the river and turned to go back to the car, the Sun was just beginning to clear these trees and so I took a few of it rising and reflecting.

As an amateur photographer when you get home and find what you captured, all you want to do is share it with others.

Many Blessings to each of you.

(the photo has been edited but not Photoshopped … the rays you see are what the camera captured!)

Transformation Begins Outside

05 Friday Feb 2016

2016_02_05_1031_WB-cRb.JPG

The reversal of what we see
is not only an abstract view
but the beginning
of transformation…

Oh how we live
in such a nice little world
where everything has its place
to let us know
how to relate to it

Yet it becomes abstract
and feels very strange
when we begin to look at everything
from a new perspective…

How we relate to this world
outside of us
needs to be turned
inside out and upside down
if we truly want to transform it

How we create a change
within ourselves
is directly proportional
to what appears
outside of us

It is the resonance within
that transforms and changes
our relationship
to the outer world…

When we truly become aware
that we no longer feel
the harmonics or vibratory energy
that confirms who we truly are
we feel threatened and alone

Yet it is the message
that allows us to look
from a different viewpoint
at each moment in this lifetime
and bring about change…

Turn your world
upside down and inside out…

Transform yourself…

Become who you truly are
regardless of how others see you

Dawning Promise

02 Tuesday Feb 2016

2016_02_02_dawn

It has been a while since I wrote a Morning 1st Glance reflection; so here we go!

It has been a very strange Winter here in southwestern Maine with very little snow and only one week of real cold. Now the 2nd of February and it feels as if Spring really is possible this early.

Yet as you can see in the picture from my porch, just before sunrise, there is a beauty that I see as a Promise. One might ask of what and I would have to respond in many, perhaps abstract ways, of how on some level we all make many promises to ourselves.

Yet in the movement of the Earth which creates the illusion of a rising and setting Sun, we too get caught in illusions of our own creation. Many times we are just unaware and in a state of innocence, awed by all that life brings to us. Then at others, we fail to acknowledge our true passion for life, out of which we made those promises.

So this morning when I saw this beautiful image in the distance, I realized that the field of possibilities is always showing us our capacity to choose again. To re-align with our hearts and those promises we carved on the walls of our mind.

The Promise to live Life
fully and without fear
To reach out and touch
the World we are created in
Create from the pure Love within us
a welcoming experience
One which touches the lives
of all other living beings
Knowing that in that moment
We are powerful Creators
of Peace, Light and Love

Idle Choices Waiting

31 Sunday Jan 2016

Idle Boats

Small dinghies
in the harbor
much like choices
wait to carry us
to new adventures

Each one a vehicle
to navigate our existence
here on Planet Earth

Without choices
we, like the dinghies
go nowhere
do nothing
waiting powerless

Let our heads assist
in the untethering
yet align our choices
with our Highest Self

Yes “WE”
are the power behind choices
that create all possibilities

Let “US” choose
from Our Hearts
for in that Choice
Harmony and Balance
is restored to All

Before Sunrise and Moonset

2016_01_28_1006_crb

Long before I arose from my bed
there was only the Moon and the Stars
how sweet early morning can be

There with thoughts manifesting
busy yet without movement
at one with all of nature

Should I record this or just enjoy the conversation?

The discussion within begins to rise
the mind chatter seeks to disrupt
and this peaceful interlude ends

The sky begins to shift in color
the stark yet balanced darkness fades
the dancing celestial bodies dim

Out of bed I arise to seek a cup of coffee.

Greeting me with a promise of life
revealing my blissful gratitude
another day of experience begins

Yet the Sun has not risen
and the Moon has not set
I sit between worlds

Aware of every moment as it unfolds
without judgment or concern
peacefully drinking it all in

Unbinding Our Beliefs

17 Sunday Jan 2016

2015_04_22_0250_

Unbinding is an odd word which we seldom use in our everyday vernacular. Yet I found it in a comment I made years ago, as I begin to gather several years of bits and pieces of them…

The practice of unbinding
is the reversal of flow
in which we learn that ecstasy
is achieved in the giving
rather than the receiving
a reversal
of what the world
would have us believe.
cRb 1.17.12

I sense that we are truly unbinding ourselves from so many beliefs that we feel much like the water in the picture above as it spills over the edge and into the sluice, which carries it to the river.
The ecstasy is in choice, the giving of choices both for ourselves and others.
The freedom to see life as a journey filled with opportunities to be realized.
No longer contained within the pond, we are now a stream of energy which interacts with everything it meets, without judgment or fear.

Take a moment to breathe
and know that you are alive
and it is wonderful.
Everything is possible.
Every moment is an opportunity.

Forgiveness and Surrender

13 Wednesday Jan 2016

Forgiveness

Forgive me for clicking to post this before I spellchecked and added the verse.
Mind has once again shown me where it needs to be forgiven.
Where my haste to accomplish needs to be more like the river, flowing in rhythm from its source, my heart.

We want to forgive, we talk about it, we read about, we give each other advice on it; we make it very difficult. Forgiveness is the way of the heart not the mind. It occurs quietly when we surrender to our hearts and quiet our minds.

New Moon Blessings

Welcome to 2016…

On the ninth of this month we will experience the first new moon of the year. I’m reminded once again of the many beginnings that come out of stillness of those times in our lives when we have to rely on our own light to guide us.

Over the past few days several old quotes of mine have surfaced, all of which reflect a sort of anticipation, and an awareness of new beginnings within myself.

…So let me share them here for your reflection…

1.8.11
With our hearts wide open
sitting still feels like we’re flying forward…

1.7.12
In Opening ourselves
we allow for the energy
of change
to take it’s place
within our cellular structure.
Never before has this opportunity
been so profound
as to have the whole of humanity
shift both it’s inner and outer beingness
at the same time.

1.7.12
As the world shifts and changes
it will be our intuition
that we must trust
because the lies will be many layers deep…

1.8.14
Quiet reflection is when
the space between you
and what you are thinking
is vaster than what you are experiencing…

So please take some time to meditate, reflect and embrace your True Inner Self; not only for this new year, but this new you that 2016 will unfold before you.

New Moon Blessings to each of you!

Discernment

Discernment

Discernment requires a heart
that is ready and willing
to listen and respond
to new information,
an open mind that is prepared
to let go of the old programming
and false beliefs,
and both the heart and mind
working in co-operation
with each other
to see things differently.
