Awaken for Mother Earth has turned
and the Light cannot be hidden…

cRb 3.9.16

With the New Moon and a Solar Eclipse now behind us it seems that there has been a shift of energies that is challenging at best to put into words. I can only grasp at the word ‘Newness’… yet it cannot be held in its ephemeral form.

Before the Sun appeared over the horizon it was cloudy and I wondered if the day was going to be overcast. (I don’t tune in to the weather as I would rather it unfold before me)

My first cup of coffee in hand and my emails to be read I began my day. The first email from a dear friend in Australia contained my 1st Glance of Light only to be crowned in the glory of the moment, captured in this photograph over an hour later.

Here was her gift…

Poem by John O’Donohue

Light

Light cannot see inside things.
That is what the dark is for:
Minding the interior,
Nurturing the draw of growth
Through places where death
In its own way turns into life.

In the glare of neon times,
Let our eyes not be worn
By surfaces that shine
With hunger made attractive.

That our thoughts may be true light,
Finding their way into words
Which have the weight of shadow
To hold the layers of truth.

That we never place our trust
In minds claimed by empty light,
Where one-sided certainties
Are driven by false desire.

When we look into the heart,
May our eyes have the kindness
And reverence of candlelight.

That the searching of our minds
Be equal to the oblique
Crevices and corners where
The mystery continues to dwell,
glimmering in fugitive light.

When we are confined inside
The dark house of suffering,
That moonlight might find a window.

When we become false and lost
That the severe noon-light
Would cast our shadow clear.

When we love, that dawn-light
Would lighten our feet
Upon the waters.

As we grow old, that twilight
Would illuminate treasure
In the fields of memory.

And when we come to search for God,
Let us first be robed in night,
Put on the mind of morning
To feel the rush of light
Spread slowly inside
The colour and stillness
Of a found world.

Mothers and Grandmothers
Great Grandmothers and Daughters
I offer you my Peace, Light and Love
to embrace you and encourage you
to radiate your joy, your passion, your strength
into this world which is so desperately yearning
to be held once again in your loving embrace

May those who are now embracing
both their masculine and feminine self
allow that energy to flow
into the collective consciousness
as we all move into a greater understanding
of our true balanced nature as humans

May the men who are awakening to the Divine Feminine
let go of the old thoughts and patterns of patriarchal society
welcoming the feminine energy to assist them in healing
old wounds, beliefs and practices of thousands of years
that keep us in cycles of separation and discord

May each of us in our own brief little journey here
begin to embody all of our truly divine aspects of self
sharing them freely with each other with loving kindness
and celebrate the most precious energy of women as Divine
and return us all to Unity with Grace and Harmony

We Are Not Separate

Being in balance
is an ever increasing challenge
as we move into new energies
and open ourselves to them

It is not however, impossible
to find the path that allows us
to cut right through
and never look back

Much like the river
which starts as melting snow
at the distant high altitudes
and grows both in volume
and intensity as it meanders
around obstacles or uproots them

Always balanced by the amount it gives
to the Earth it moves upon
and to the Sky through evaporation,
it co-creates without separation

We too are not separate
and can remember balance

Message To Self

message to self

Oh this journey we call Life is always a little mysterious.
I found this note to myself last week and proceeded to place the words with the picture as a metaphor of how we look at a distant horizon that is front of us and it appears to create a separation.

Message to self…
Each of us is always facing into the unknown and we are so much more comfortable viewing it, rather than exploring it.
Let us be the ones who choose to adapt to the unknown without fear or sense of loss, knowing it is our purpose to do so.
We are the seeds of the future; rejoice and create in the unknown,
it is the only place we truly flourish.

***** ***** ***** ***** *****

That which is closest to us
appears more comfortable
and approachable
while that distant focusing
requires imagination
and appears empty,
void of substance

Our comfort is relative
to the choices we make…
created from mind we can rationalize
yet coming forth from the heart
they are like seeds,
tiny capsules not yet realized
with so many different options
to perceive their unfolding beauty

Let us place them on the horizon
to become the unknown choice
allowing all of creation to participate
in nurturing into existence
that Self which has no boundaries
without separation, empty of fear
knowing only purpose and service

The seed of Our Evolution…

Synchronous Journey

17 Wednesday Feb 2016

2016_02_17_Orchids Open

The third bud on my orchid has finally opened after so many ears of dormancy. Perhaps it was the change of location that has inspired Her to finally blossom, being now in the morning light or perhaps I have become worthy of Her beauty.

I also found a poem written by Nancye Sims which I had saved, titled “A Creed To Live By”.
I never knew the name of the poem and so I had to look it up. When I read it again I felt as though the synchronicity of the orchid and the message were linked within my Heart.

Since I tend to live what I call a Synchronous Journey, these two moments could not be a coincidence.
So I send them out to the world as a declaration of how each of us are always passing through phases of our lives which appear fruitless.
Yet they are not to be dismissed or cast away, for when we are ready to blossom once again…
We will be Glorious…

A CREED TO LIVE BY
written by Nancye Sims)

Don’t undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Don’t set your goals by what other people deem important.
Only you know what is best for you.

Don’t take for granted the things closest to your heart.
Cling to them as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless.

Don’t let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.

Don’t give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

Don’t be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect.
It is this fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Don’t be afraid to encounter risks.
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don’t shut love out of your live by saying it’s impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love;
the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly;
and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don’t dismiss your dreams.
To be without dreams is to be without hope;
to be without hope is to be without purpose.

Don’t run through life so fast that you forget
not only where you’ve been, but also where you’re going.

Life is not a race,
but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Winter Passing Through

York River, Maine

For many of us Winter can be a long time in passing.
Yet, for those who have never felt temperatures below zero
here is a very descriptive picture.
From -9 degrees yesterday to 48 degrees today the roller coaster ride starts with snow and ends in rain.
Yes, Winter is Passing Through!

Our Vivid – Awesomeness

Vivid

Many who know me personally tolerate that I love to play with words… to mix and match meanings and interpretations in my own ways. To get us to reach out of the box of that we are programmed into and experience them in our raw innocence.

So as I was editing this photo I wanted to make it more Vivid and bring out its true Awesomeness and reached a point where it was too much. There was a point of where the vibrations of it were distorted and uncomfortable.

I reflect now on those very descriptive words which we use but sometimes fail to embody for ourselves yet attach to things outside of us…

When Vividness appears in our life
it is a reminder to participate
if only for a fleeting moment
in the Awesomeness of being alive

It is this Essence within us
that we tend to shy away from
lest we draw too much attention
as if being Awesome is to be kept hidden

We find ourselves feeling awkward
not expressing our true emotions
accepting a somewhat diminished self
in a world of our misunderstanding

Let Us Be about embracing our authenticity…
Our evocative, detailed and stimulating Self
whose powerful, stirring and sometimes haunting Self
brings both wonderment and fear to others

Let us Be Vivid
Let us Be Awesome
Let us also know when we have gone too far.

Healing Light

Healing Light

It is the New Moon and Chinese New Year – the Red Fire Monkey, each of which have aspects that will be life changing. It doesn’t matter if you ascribe to their forecasts or not for in all aspects it is a new beginning…

The Blue and Golden Rays are embracing each and every one of us as we move into some uncharted areas which can be unsettling at the least.

Allow them to bring to you
a Peaceful Strength
a Brilliant Outlook
a Deep Serenity
an Abiding Love

Allow yourself to reflect
on Your Purpose
on Your Commitment
on Your Acceptance
to Mother Gaia

Allow all possibilities
for Clearing or Removal
for Transmutation
for Infusion
to manifest

And to become an integral part of your experience
for the greatest benefit to all beings
without judgment or restriction

Light of New Dawn

As the Light of a New Dawn
greets a turning world…

There upon the waters
the energy builds…

Each of us rising
