Each of us experience those times when the words become sparse but deep, the photographs don’t get taken and we are what I call flatlined. Our creative expression appears to have gone on vacation and not taken us along.
Then in a moment we look and there are those sparse words asking to be revealed, asking to have a picture taken that might showcase them, asking to become part of others consciousness.

To the SELF
there is no surrender
it is the GLORY
of expression
which flows and blends
into NOW
uniting us ALL

The Energy of the Lions Gate of August 8, 2015

Recognizing energy exists in everything, including people, plants, water, wind, planets and more, allows us to work with the energies to help us in a myriad of ways. This energy can help us release, heal and manifest. The energy of the Lion’s Gate is particularly strong. In numerology, the number 8 means abundance and prosperity as well as harmony, balance and power. Laying the number 8 on it’s side is the symbol for infinity. The number 8 energy provides us the opportunity to have endless flows of abundance and prosperity in many facets of life. All of this energy increasing and strengthening on 8-8-8 creates an extremely powerful time for co-creation and manifestation.

August is the 8th month of the year, and this gateway happens on the 8 day of the 8th month in an 8 year, as 2015 in numerology adds up to 8. When the number 8 is doubled to 8-8, the energy increases and strengthens. Then tripled, it creates an even stronger vibration of the energies the 8 carries with it.

This is all happening in the astrological sign of Leo, which is symbolized as a Lion. Thus, this day is called the Lion’s Gate. The Lion represents courage and strength. As a totem animal, it represents feminine strength, or the power of the Sun, which is feminine. Lions are also considered to be proud animals, thus the name “The Pride”. People who have Leo as a sun sign tend to like the limelight or being the center of attention, just as the Sun is the center of our universe.

The energy of the Lion’s Gateway is about pure potentiality and endless possibilities. The gateway is a portal where energies of other higher dimensional galaxies pour into our planet and thus our lives. The energy is full of light codes meant to assist the transformation and evolution of our planet. Light codes are a type of language all their own. They are of a higher frequency and vibration than we have been experiencing to date on Mother Earth. They are meant to raise us up into higher dimensions. These higher dimensions are about Love and living as One, essentially delivering the message of Unity. Since 2012, we have felt many different energies building, helping to assist humanity in ascending into a more highly evolved, dimensional space of love, harmony and peace. The energies of the Lion’s Gateway are delivering us even more intense and powerful energies for us to use for transformation and manifestation personally and globally.

For each individual, the energy asks you to step into your power, using your strength and courage to co-create whatever you wish with the energies. By moving forward into your authenticity, the energy offers endless possibilities. This is a time for creating or building upon your passions and purpose, which will then bring abundance and prosperity. It is about stepping into your own center and limelight, bringing your dreams to life. When you work with the energies in this manner, you are co-creating a better now and better future for yourself and all of those around you.

Light workers during this time, and for years before, are serving as anchors to ground the higher vibrational energy into our world. Being a light worker myself, it has been energy wave after energy wave this year…this year of abundance. It’s both exhilarating and exhausting, as the human body attempts to adjust to these new frequencies and vibrations we are being sent. Light workers, light warriors and light bearers are all here working to assist the world in becoming a healthier, happier and heavenly place to live together as One. The energies of this 8-8-8 portal are for each of us to use to better ourselves, and our world, co-creating and manifesting our dreams. These energies deliver the message of Unity and co-creation, recognizing we are all interconnected. It is important to note this is the first of three days of this energetic power of the 8-8-8. The second occurs on August 17, 2015 (where 1+7 = 8) and the third on August 26, 2015 (where 2+6 = 8). Essentially, three days of the intense, wonderful energy & the power of Triple 8.

Darkness and Light

We are all being asked to see the darkness
in order that we may redefine our perception of Light.
It is not a battle nor a test of wills
but a transition which takes place
within our own minds.

Our hearts break and tears and anger rise
within us as the triggers are pulled
for we are living as humans.

Yet the deeper levels are untouchable
by all that we are surrounded by.

This is where the darkness is rising from
that disturbs us the most.

Our Light is shining through it all…
the outer, the inner, the above and below.

We have asked for and are receiving energies
to stop the desecration of all life on this planet.
It will be challenging and
We are more than ready for the task.

LOVE is not only flowing
it is re-creating and forcing the evolution.
Keep your hearts sacred by continual purging
of all that does not feel balanced
or having harmony within you.

Stand in the Circle of Hearts
that is now beaming it’s Light of Peace
upon all that is distressing.

Repairing Your Mask

Recently a friend returned from the Sudan after spending a year teaching there, she called me and asked if I could repair a mask she received from the parents of the children as a gift for her successful work with them.
The mask, unfortunately, had not made the trip from Africa in one piece and so of course I said YES.

What an opportunity and honor to perform such a healing experience I thought. Yes healing! The mask taught me many things as I prepared myself and carefully worked with it to restore the energies it represented for so many.

At first I was guided to sit with and hold the mask while I heard the story of how it came to be here in my care. It was much more than an object of art as I listened and heard of how the journey my friend undertook began. Some of the trials while being there as well as the growth of both herself and the children she was guided there to teach.

I also listened as the mask began to tell me of its meaning which I relayed to her as it came through. In the Crown of animals there was a piece that had not been saved and the space was to be left empty. Although one piece would always be missing it was perfectly fitting to remind us that there is always a missing piece in the fields of creation, but which is still part of the whole, although we may not see it. Representing those in our own lives as well who have been important to us yet are no longer here.

So, I welcomed the mask as a bridge of the ancestors of Africa and the Americas and let it sit with pictures of my own ancestors in honor of the human journey which has led to this moment. We often tend to only think of here and now and ourselves, yet here I was with the energies of all the ancestors of my lineage, those of my friend, those of the carver, and those of the children in Africa. A healing space was created to bring it all together in harmony, balance and Love.

When working with objects that are of spiritual nature it is important to not be in a hurry. Our human sense of time is not as important as the allowing of space between actions. So it was several days before I actually began the reconstruction.

The physical repairs were done very carefully by gluing small segments together in a number of gluings and allowing time for each to cure. Each time I felt guided and sure of my choices which flowed with ease and without any second guessing. Rather than worrying during the whole process about creating further damage I enjoyed the reconstruction process. It flowed with a peaceful understanding that each step was part of a pathway to wholeness. Both an ending and a beginning which the mask represented.

At the final filling in of cracks and polishing began, a sense of thankfulness and gratitude overcame me and I started to see a great likeness between the mask and myself. Hence the title “Repairing Your Mask”.

Each of us as humans wear a mask and sometimes quite a few, yet we don’t always know which ones have been damaged or are no longer needed. They are put on as small children perhaps at the age of those children in Africa when we begin to enter into the larger community of the world.

Each of us are now being called to look in the mirror and discern where the damages have occurred to our own mask and to repair it.

Each of us will have scars that will remain visible and some missing parts which cannot be replaced, for these are the natural wear and tear of what we call Life. It was not meant that we escape the challenges of life but to embrace them and learn that we are much more than these physical beings in a world of chaos and misunderstanding.

Yet each of us must at some point in the future remove the masks and be able to place them on the walls to remind us that they are no longer needed. To come to understand that we are strong enough to reveal who we truly are to the world around us. Having Gratitude to memorialize that we all have been part of an ancestry that reaches back to a time before masks. A time when we lived from our hearts without fear of each other, in communities where assisting each other to grow and learn was more important than what we obtained through bartering or overpowering each other.

We can then walk away with Love, giving it away in all that we do, to whomever we encounter without judgment and in Peace. Our Light no longer hidden behind the mask briefly shining through our eyes but now in full radiant glory.

So let us all begin to repair our own masks, paving the the way to see more, be more, and have more gratitude for ourselves and all of humanity. In this we can then look forward to a time when the masks we wear and have created will be the art objects given in token of appreciation for the compassion and kindness we bestow upon others.

Small Shifts

small shifts

I usually like to place my own words on my photographs to create my Museography but his week they have been sparse. At least in the sense of uplifting and encouraging to others.

We all experience these times when the Muse seems to leave and the bitterness of life tends to creep, ever so slowly, into our thought patterns.

So when I read this quote that I found while researching The Butterfly Effect, I saved it. It struck a chord which sweetened the judgmental attitude that was beginning to take root.

This was one of two quotes that I saved on my desktop notes to remind me that how we think and perceive what is going on around us as well as within us was not as random or as perplexing as we make them out to be.

That while small shifts are occurring daily they are challenging us to see everything differently and asking us all to really take hold of Life and reaffirm our Presence here for the greater good of All.

And so…

“Now is an incredibly powerful time, to create what you want, so stop giving your power away by reacting to all the negativity that you are led to believe is surrounding you, and use it instead to create the type of life that you want to have. Use this time to your advantage. And remember to GROUND, GO DEEP WITHIN, LISTEN TO YOUR INTUITION, and then take ACTION towards your goals and aspirations.”
