Unbinding Our Beliefs

17 Sunday Jan 2016

Unbinding is an odd word which we seldom use in our everyday vernacular. Yet I found it in a comment I made years ago, as I begin to gather several years of bits and pieces of them…

The practice of unbinding
is the reversal of flow
in which we learn that ecstasy
is achieved in the giving
rather than the receiving
a reversal
of what the world
would have us believe.
cRb 1.17.12

I sense that we are truly unbinding ourselves from so many beliefs that we feel much like the water in the picture above as it spills over the edge and into the sluice, which carries it to the river.
The ecstasy is in choice, the giving of choices both for ourselves and others.
The freedom to see life as a journey filled with opportunities to be realized.
No longer contained within the pond, we are now a stream of energy which interacts with everything it meets, without judgment or fear.

Take a moment to breathe
and know that you are alive
and it is wonderful.
Everything is possible.
Every moment is an opportunity.

Forgiveness and Surrender

Forgiveness

Forgive me for clicking to post this before I spellchecked and added the verse.
Mind has once again shown me where it needs to be forgiven.
Where my haste to accomplish needs to be more like the river, flowing in rhythm from its source, my heart.

We want to forgive, we talk about it, we read about, we give each other advice on it; we make it very difficult. Forgiveness is the way of the heart not the mind. It occurs quietly when we surrender to our hearts and quiet our minds.

New Moon Blessings

Welcome to 2016…

On the ninth of this month we will experience the first new moon of the year. I’m reminded once again of the many beginnings that come out of stillness of those times in our lives when we have to rely on our own light to guide us.

Over the past few days several old quotes of mine have surfaced, all of which reflect a sort of anticipation, and an awareness of new beginnings within myself.

…So let me share them here for your reflection…

1.8.11
With our hearts wide open
sitting still feels like we’re flying forward…

1.7.12
In Opening ourselves
we allow for the energy
of change
to take it’s place
within our cellular structure.
Never before has this opportunity
been so profound
as to have the whole of humanity
shift both it’s inner and outer beingness
at the same time.

1.7.12
As the world shifts and changes
it will be our intuition
that we must trust
because the lies will be many layers deep…

1.8.14
Quiet reflection is when
the space between you
and what you are thinking
is vaster than what you are experiencing…

So please take some time to meditate, reflect and embrace your True Inner Self; not only for this new year, but this new you that 2016 will unfold before you.

New Moon Blessings to each of you!

Discernment

Discernment requires a heart
that is ready and willing
to listen and respond
to new information,
an open mind that is prepared
to let go of the old programming
and false beliefs,
and both the heart and mind
working in co-operation
with each other
to see things differently.

All that is Frozen – Thaws

Iced River.JPG

Winter has finally brought its, close to zero temperatures, here to Maine. Although this picture of the York River is not today, it is certainly what happens when tidal rivers are subjected to intense cold.

So as we all seek refuge from the cold, I begin to reflect on those moments frozen in my own deep inner self that need to be thawed and released.

Two messages from Spirit which end up as my poetry surfaced in the past two days. So sometimes technology works in ways to remind us of those items we just file away without giving them a second thought.

Let me share them here…

1.4.12
In the wake of celebration
let us ripple away
into the stillness
and reflect
the Light
which
stood still
as the world
in which we live
turns and returns to Love.
cRb

York River Sunset ©.JPG

Yes the River still flows beneath the frozen surface and it still rises with the tides, so know in your hearts that we all are changing in order to become what we truly are

and on 1.5.13

All that has led us to this marvelous point in our evolution needs to be reviewed.
This will be the preparation for the marriage of heart and mind where no separation will ever exist again.
Call it Spring Cleaning if you will… and get rid of everything that no longer serves to keep your mind and heart open.

Perhaps it is a bit early for Spring Cleaning yet I feel that each of us are beginning to let go of our deep seated fears and early childhood traumas every time we freeze up and then thaw like the river above.

Crystal Caves Bermuda
Crystal Caves, Bermuda

From within Her heart
Mother Gaia calls
to all Her children

Come home dear ones
and remember Our Love
and Our Transformation

Hear my heartbeat
within your own
as a clarion call

Of joyous celebration
as we journey together
in balance and unity

For in the passing of time
much has been damaged
and needs re-calibration

A New Year Inspires Transformation

On New Years’ Eve shortly after midnight and the ball dropping in New York’s Times Square, I looked out my window here in Maine and this is what glanced back at me.

The poem was written 3 years ago and was inspired by another night sky photograph which was not mine…
37816-sgu-castillo-orion-12-21-12
Yet their message is the same, one of continued support for my transformation through inspiration…
May it also be yours as well… Happy 2016

Leaving from port we set sail again
embarking on another long journey…
though seas may be rough at the start
we look forward to smoother sailing

Our craft designed by the finest creator
seeded here through traditional means
will never fail in its designed purpose
unless misaligned or left unattended

Let us flash our Light in proud demeanor
as we pass alongside or move ahead
in the winds of change which propel us
broadcasting our unique presence to all

For here in a dimension of illusions
we navigate around a foray of obstacles
whose whole purpose and intent is distraction
to keep us off course… have us lose our way

Yet, although battered and sometimes forlorn
a new breeze clears the fog of frustration
and as we look back to the stars of origin
to correct our course through time

With an undeterred inner guidance
and the din of confusion not heard
we will soon arrive at the portal
where at first we set out to go.

We are transformed once again

Heartbeats become seconds
Minutes pass into hours
another day adds to the journey
that our Hearts have traveled

We are at the point we call a Year
both the end and the beginning
reflecting shadows and shining brightly
still the heartbeats are but seconds

Those constant companions of life
which have no concept of day or night
of Winter or Summer, Weeks or Months
yet with each pulsing moment mark time

Beyond the Heart Chamber walls
everything becomes sent to the mind
which places a label and energetic signature
upon all experiences and responses

There they come to life through creation
the gathering and connecting of moments
through which the heartbeat paced itself
without much notice or any real bother

I say to you Happy New Heart not Happy New Year

May your Heart radiate throughout all you may think
bringing forth your gratitude for every moment
each one building on the next and sending you forth
to respond with kindness and compassion in your New Year

spirit into man

Oh how marvelous
said Spirit to the Man
I will dwell within you
and as a symbol
I will leave you fossils
filled with crystals
therefore you will not forget

I will descend in a spiral
and you will emulate it
with every complete turn
your life will unfold
until there is no separation

you will be my reflection
and even our shadow will dance
upon the surface of the world

Agamenticus – York River Blessing

These pictures were taken the day after Christmas with a Full Moon and temperatures in the 60’s.
Not the usual look for this amazing river at this time of year.

Although small in comparison to rivers around the world and considered by some to be a mere stream it is the source of life for so many species who migrate or live year round within its wetlands.
Today I blessed the river with two quartz crystals for continued protection and to raise the awareness of our river waters around the world.
The photos were taken from my neighbor’s yard across the street with whom I had the privilege of performing a Golden Light Dowsing on her property a month ago.

2015_12_26_0955_cRb
“The Abenaki name for the York River was Agamenticus, which means Beyond-the-hill-little-cove”
2015_12_26_0958_cRb
“The river’s tidal salt marshes represent a significant habitat in Maine, especially for migratory shorebirds. The watershed includes approximately 406 acres of tidal marsh (according to a report by the York County Soil & Water Conservation District, 1996).”

2015_12_26_0957_cRb
The tidal portion of river is approximately 8 miles long and disappears into the marshes which surround it.. The tidal fluctuation can be more than 10 feet with very shallow parts at low tide which are not navigable except by kayak or canoe. The main body being seawater from the ocean which rarely freezes except during long and deep temperature drops during the Winter.

2015_12_26_0959_cRb

This photo is approximately across from my home and although I’m not on the shoreline itself I can walk to it everyday and embrace it’s unspoiled beauty either on foot or kayak.

Tad Baker, a York resident who teaches history at Salem State University in Massachusetts. “It’s one of the most historic rivers in Maine,” he said. “The river was the original transportation network in prehistoric and Colonial Maine. As you go along the York River today, you’re going past sites that go back hundreds and sometimes thousands of years.”

Baker said the area around the river has been inhabited for at least 5,000 years. English settlers moved to the area in 1624. Ten years later, the first tidal-powered grist mill in the country – and perhaps North America – was built on the York River, he said.
