Nourishing Happiness – Chapter 5
These three exercises are along the lines of the Visuddhimagga: (The Path of Purification)
May I know how to nourish the seeds of joy in myself every day. May he/she know how much to nourish the seeds of joy in him/herself every day. May they know how to nourish the seeds of joy in themselves every day.
May I be able to live fresh, solid, and free. May he/she be able to live fresh, solid, and free. May they be able to live fresh, solid, and free.
May I be free from attachment and aversion, but not be indifferent. May he/she be free from attachment and aversion but not be indifferent. May they be free from attachment and aversion but not be indifferent.
Aligning within the energies of our physical Heart we begin a journey of understanding and reparation ever-deepening into that which is the cause of our separation not only from each other but from our True Self as well
Take a few moments each day to sit in Nature and be still listening for the mind to wander into its storytelling and its ever-noisy planning of events which may bring about fear or, better yet, the old patterns of our behavior within our families
Each of us has unique expressions of the very same issues which keep us separated and unwilling to release what is not needed any longer in order to see ourselves once again in each other no matter what shape, color, or culture we embrace as our ancestral heritage
Let us make a commitment to change our focus and send Love to ourselves through each other and let the healing begin with gusto

Focusing on awakening to our highest Self by chanting, we can activate the power and wisdom that has forever been within us, as well as bringing forth great happiness and embodied fulfillment to others we encounter daily.
It also helps us to arise from suffering and delusion into our true nature which awakens the power, wisdom, compassion, and divine life force within us.
Japa Mala is Nightly @ 10:00 PM Eastern. Facebook Live and in The Connection Field with Good of the Whole. Sign in for zoom room ID at www.ConnectionFieldDigest.org
About the Chant: Devotion to the Mystic Law of the Lotus Sutra / Glory to the Dharma of the Lotus Sutra) are words chanted within all forms of Nichiren Buddhism
Namu to devotion or dedicate oneself
Myoho is Mystic Law
Renge means Lotus Blossom Kyo means Sutra
“Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is not only the core of the Buddha’s lifetime teachings, but also the heart, essence, and ultimate principle of the Lotus Sutra” The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, vol. 1, p. 860).
Let’s keep chanting together!
Our collective heart breaks as we stand at the edge of our world going through its current Dark Night of the Soul. We clearly know that everything feels out of balance and extremely unsettling. But the stars tell us that all is moving in the right direction! If we stay focused on love, joy, creativity, and peace, that is what our experiences will be now and in the future.
As we rest in tranquility, safety, and inner peace, our illusions of separation and societal upheaval will begin to dissolve. We will regain pure reverence for all of nature and each other, acknowledging our connection to everything in existence.
We will chant together 108 times as a spiritual practice to experience calm and sustainable peace. Our japa mala will give us clarity of mind and openness of heart. For 40 nights, this mantra meditation will help us steward the consciousness of what it means to truly live for the good of the whole… for our families, our community, our country, our land, all people, and for the world.
Fully surrender to that inner vortex of sublime radiance more often. ~Riverman
How beautiful it is to feel loved
in ways that dare you to express it with words.
Yes, and here they flow…
Safely held within a blissful energy field
of balance and harmony
Spiraling yet focused,
whole yet fractalized
Brilliantly shining and knowing
what can’t be seen nor spoken
It is here during a Full Moon
gathering at the Inner Well of Life Waters
that We embrace each other without
any sense of unworthiness
each of us a part of the other
There are times when we are not looking for any answers. Just taking time to enjoy the local scenery. The fresh air and sound of nature implore us to let go of our personalities.
Of course it is more interesting when it is the top of a mountain (even a small one).
The mountain I’m standing on in the cold winds of February is Mount Agamenticus here in York, Maine USA. Just a hill to many areas of our world (as it is only 692 ft ) yet the view of the Mountains of New Hampshire in the distance can be magical.
I drifted into an alignment with these amazingly powerful Beings who are a family that existed during the supercontinent Pangaea. And off I went flowing across space and time viewing the Amazing, distant snow covered Mountains that existed before humanity.
Sometimes it is the gentle cool breeze that touches our ear and hearkens us to listen more attentively. Because our minds want to communicate as they did when We were the first footrace with the ability to evolve.
