The cycles we go through
truly are amazing
they last for hours,
days, weeks, years
we never know exactly

However there are always times
when we sit quietly
and we recognize
we’ve been through
another one

How easy it is
to get caught up
in what we think is right
that we lose the sense
of everything else

Then …
in the passing of a moment …
we look up and say
What was that all about ?
